The Church
Migori worship Centre Church is a ministry which has been existing since 2000. The Mother church has a sizable congregation and through this we have planted 15 worship centres in the nearby villages, leaving our main church with 10 cell groups. Our quick growth in this short time is due to back up of strong evangelism achieved through crusades, door to door witnessing, media and world changers inter-denominational conferences and through much prayers.
Church Departments
Children
Has 200 kids meeting every Sunday Morning at 7.30 am (EAT) for Sunday School Biblical Studies. There's an annual Children's Conference (WORLD CHANGERS CONFERENCE) which brings together about 1,000 kids and which has led hundreds of Children to the Lord.
Teens and Youths
We have a vibrant teens and Youths group. We raise these young people with a focus of doing some service to the Lord when opportunity allows. We have 15 of our youths joining Bible School and majority are now Pastors and Evangelists serving the master.
Our Youths have also impacted High Schools, Colleges and Universities with the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Women
This is a powerful department that meets the needs of women in the community. Headed by a Chairlady, the department is entrusted with organizing outreaches in Villages, Hospital Visits, Prison Ministry, Prayer Outings and get togethers.
Every year, funds, clothes, groceries and general donations are collected by members and given to the needy in our community.
Men
Men get together for Prayers and fasting. They learn the scriptures together and encourage one another.
Pastoral Team
Headed by Bishop John Okinda, the Team brings together all Pastors and elders. It forms the Church Board which runs the church administratively.
Tembea na Bwana Choir
The Migori Worship Centre Choir is a powerful ministry touching thousands with their anointed songs. They sing both in the church and during conferences. They have been a tool of outreach in a great way.
The chairperson of the group Pamela Okinda believes in prayer and holiness. This has been a driving force in making sure that the songs minister to the inner being.
They are working on putting up a recording studio and if you the well wisher interested in teaming up with this wonderful ministry, you are most welcome. They are in need of powerful sound system which will enhance their performance for Gods glory.
Conference Centre
There is a Conference Centre within the Church. This facility is open to the community and to everyone for conferences and seminars.
